We believe that our propietary Animal Funds® concept will allow average investors to shorten and improve their learning curve and provide more confidence in investing.
Our target customers are average investors (78 million Americans) that hold over $16 trillion in assets with Investment Companies (such as mutual funds and ETF’s) as well the millions of those that are in the fringe of wanting to invest but don’t understand investing.
The money management industry has increased in AUM considerably over the last 7 years. But has seen a decline in active money management versus passive investing (using indexes and asset allocation modeling) Passive investing or index investing has seen the most growth because of lesser fees and because performance has in many cases been the same or better than active money managers.
The current trend for ETF growth is strong and seems to be gaining momentum. Animal Funds LLC is well positioned. We offer an ETF model portfolios that utilizes lower fee indexes but incorporate timely asset allocation adjustments depending on what our economic models are forecasting while keeping it simple for the customer to understand.
Our executive management team consist of Investment Professionals with over 20 years’ experience in portfolio management along with a strong background in economics and statistics, portfolio construction for over $120 billion in assets, and experience in creating indexes.
Company Goals and Objectives: Our goal is to be a household name brand in Investment Management industry that has significant market share from the over $16 Trillion in investable assets that is considered the retail (average investor) market. Our objectives are to have $1 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM) in year four and $10 billion in AUM in year eight. We do this by creating model portfolios that accurately mirrors the risk and objectives of each ETF, produce an effective marketing campaign to create a strong brand, and by keeping money management expenses low to attract all investor types.

The Company plans to use statistics and econometrics to put together indexes and/or ETFs that would achieve the desired risk and objective of the fund while remaining diversified. The Company’s strategy allows for reduced management fees and expenses which increases returns to the investors in the funds. Furthermore, investing in Indexes is a widely used and growing investing practice according to ICI Fact book.

The more employees understand investments, the more likely they are to invest or invest more. The CMO’s background in the entertainment industry will help establish Animal Funds as a memorable brand in the 401k market.
